2013 Golden Globes: 5 Biggest Jaw-Droppers

 Paul Drinkwater/NBC

Well, look who went their own way tonight!

The 70th Annual Golden Globes neither obediently followed the Emmys nor conveniently served as a launching pad for the Oscars in recognizing the Hollywood Foreign Press' picks for the tip of the top in film and television from the past year.

While certain things are just inevitable, like death, taxes, Daniel Day-Lewis and Homeland, the HFPA—and Jodie Foster, for that matter—kept the night interesting. And, when it comes to these big, long award shows, that's saying a lot.

2013 Golden Globes: 5 things you didn't see on TV

1. Girls' Guide to Fronting and Winning: One minute critics can't decide if they even like Girls, wondering if it's too smugly awkward for its own good, and the next, Lena Dunham's HBO series is being named the top comedy series—and Dunham is beating the likes of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical. And Dunham made the most of both of her trips to the podium, calling producer Judd Apatow "the greatest man and the greatest honorary girl" and following through on a promise she made to herself and her mom to thank Chad Lowe.

Golden Globe recap: Great night for the CIA as Argo and Homeland dominate

Paul Drinkwater/NBC

2. You Snooze, You Lose, Academy: The curious case of Ben Affleck not being nominated for an Oscar only seems more mystifying now that he's a Golden Globe winner for Best Director for Argo, which also bested seeming frontrunner Lincoln and lost-in-purgatory Zero Dark Thirty for Best Motion Picture, Drama. The Academy snub supposedly messed with Argo's Best Picture Oscar chances—but doesn't this do exactly the opposite? Oh well, at least Affleck just became a DGA Award frontrunner, and Jennifer Garner got to be extra cute when she was able to thank Argo producers Grant Heslov and George Clooney on her hubby's behalf after he left them out of his speech.

Paul Drinkwater/NBC

3. Quentin Quite Fazed: True, the Golden Globes doesn't differentiate between adapted and original screenplays, but Quentin Tarantino's profane cornucopia of verbiage that was Django Unchained most certainly wasn't considered the frontrunner for Best Screenplay. "This is a damn surprise and I'm happy to be surprised," Tarantino himself said in thanks. Wasn't Lincoln adapter Tony Kushner supposed to be the favorite when original and adapted scripts squared off? Or, if not him, Marc Boal for Zero Dark Thirty? Does this make Tarantino the Oscar frontrunner now? And, since he's up for Best Director along with Django's Best Picture nod... As Dr. King Schultz would say, "Who knows what could happen?!" (Oh yeah, and consider Christoph Waltz's win over Tommy Lee Jones and Alan Arkin an upset, too.)

Bill Clinton! Amy & Tina! Sacha Baron Cohen! Best & worst moments from the 2013 Golden Globes

Don Cheadle Paul Drinkwater/NBC

4. House of Whys: And so continues this weird deal the HFPA seems to have with Showtime. Last year it was Matt LeBlanc for Episodes and, this year, Don Cheadle was named Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy, for House of Lies, a cynical comedy about a group of management consultants who'll stoop to any low to secure that deal. Let's be clear on one thing: We love Don Cheadle. He's the best thing in lots of things, including this sort-of-comedy that premiered to mixed reviews like Girls, but, unlike Girls, never quite made the critics any warmer. But Cheadle over Alec Baldwin in 30 Rock's last season? Or Louis C.K. for being the best-worst Louis he can be on Louis? Consider our jaws dropped.

Jodie Foster Paul Drinkwater/NBC

5. Jodie "Fifty Years Old" Foster: Eeenteresting. Jodie Foster certainly put all other Cecil B. DeMille Award acceptance speeches to shame tonight when she used hers as a bully pulpit to slam the current culture of people invading their own privacy via reality shows and social media. She also confirmed, once and for all, in case you were wondering, that she is gay, noting that she came out "about a thousand years ago, in the Stone Age," to "everyone she'd actually met." The prom queen didn't exactly pull a Carrie, but Foster certainly torched the modern notion that an actor's success necessarily involves selling his or her private life to the devil. (Heck, we would have considered her speech a success based on presenter Robert Downey Jr.'s wink-wink self-indulgence alone.) Foster even toyed with the idea of retiring from showbiz. "This feels like the end of one era and the beginning of something else," Foster said. "Scary and exciting, and now what? Well, I may never be up on this stage again, on any stage, for that matter. Change, you gotta love it."

Prince William and Kate Middleton's Baby Due in July

by Alexis L. Loinaz Today 4:49 AM PST

Jesal Parshotam / Splash News

Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting a very bright summer!

The royal couple's first baby will be due in July, giving palace watchers (not to mention battalions of paps) ample time to clear their summer schedules for what will no doubt be a serious bid for some royal baby eyeballing.

The palace announced the news Monday, saying, "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July."

Kate Middleton's first official royal photo revealed

It also provided an update on Kate's health following her nasty bout with acute morning sickness, noting, "The Duchess' condition continues to improve since her stay in [the] hospital last month."

Indeed, Will and Kate were out and about last week to celebrate the duchess' 31st birthday, catching a performance of Cirque du Soleil in London with her family and a posse of pals. (They even managed to poke fun at Wills during the show!)

The palace has also confirmed that the royal couple are on the hunt for a housekeeper for their home at Kensington Palace, telling E! News that the position "has been advertised internally." The duo had previously denied they were looking for extra help, but with a baby on the way and royal duties beckoning, who can blame them for needing a few more hands on deck?

Here's what Prince Charles had to say about his impending grandfatherhood

And although it may be too soon to determine the baby's gender, the blue-blooded bundle of joy will already have a title waiting for it regardless, as Queen Elizabeth II recently decreed that her next great-grandchild's title will be prince or princess and be referred to as His or Her Royal Highness.

Talk about royally good news!

Lady Gaga Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction Onstage as Kelly Osbourne Ends Feud With Pop Star

 R Chiang / Splash News

Lady Gaga inadvertently provided some new Fashion Police material for Kelly Osbourne on Friday.

The 26-year-old pop star suffered a wardrobe malfunction onstage in Vancouver, Canada, when her tight latex ensemble split down the middle, revealing her bare butt to the audience.

But don't expect Kelly, 28, to crack too many jokes about Gaga's exposed derrière. Following a heated feud (so hot, even mama Sharon Osbourne got involved!), the two ladies appear to have put their issues behind them.

Sharon slams Gaga after Kelly critique, calls her a hypocrite and a bully

Gaga responded to Kelly's on-air comments about her weight in an open letter, telling the E! star it saddened her to see her as someone "who makes fun of others for a living."

Sharon then responded with her own open letter, calling Mother Monster "a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter."

But Kelly told People Saturday she's "a big fan" of the "Born This Way" singer.

"All I have to say on this subject is that I love Lady Gaga!" she explained. "I made stupid mistakes when I was 25, as well, when I accused people of doing things that were wrong. We all live and we learn, and like I said, I'm a big fan of hers."

Kelly shows off her bikini bod

As for Sharon's comments about the star? "I have no control over my mother," Kelly said. "She can do whatever she wants."

Gaga explained in a Facebook post Saturday that her letter to Kelly "was open, because her statements on cyber-bulling were public & as a youth activist I'm compelled to be involved."

"The 'real world' can be cruel, why not try to change it into a better place?" she mused.

Fair enough.

Look! Taylor Swift's a Sourpuss After Adele's Golden Globe Victory

 Youtube

Why do we get the feeling Taylor Swift's not impressed after Adele beat her out for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song?

Maybe that's because at the moment her rival won for "Skyfall" and waxed ecstatic onstage during her acceptance speech, TV cameras caught the pop superstar looking not so gracious in defeat.

Taylor, however, should have saved the mad face for a few minutes later.

Taylor Swift in purple at Golden Globes, talks writing song not about herself "for a change"

Because once Adele was done at the podium, the songstress found herself the butt of a joke from Globes host Tina Fey, who, drink in hand, jabbed, "You know what, Taylor Swift? You stay away from Michael J. Fox's son."

Of course, the funnylady was referencing the 23-year-old Swift's penchant for short-lived romances, most recently her two-month fling with One Direction hottie Harry Styles which reportedly ended last week.

But the singer, who was nominated for her song "Safe & Sound" from The Hunger Games, did receive some sympathy from cohost Amy Poehler, who urged Swift to "go for it." Cracked Fey in reply, "No, she needs some me time to learn about herself."

Well, maybe Taylor will write a song about them too.

Olivia Wilde and Justin Sudeikis' engagement excitement

Olivia Wilde and Justin Sudeikis are excited to be engaged after he popped the question shortly after the holidays

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are ''so excited'' after getting engaged.

The 37-year-old 'Saturday Night Live' funnyman proposed to the 28-year-old 'Tron'' Legacy' actress shortly after the holidays after just over a year of dating.

A source close to the besotted couple confirmed the news to People.com, saying: ''They are so excited. And very, very happy.''

The pair began dating in November 2011 and moved in together last year, with the brunette beauty admitting she fell ''blissfully, hopelessly, wildly in love.''

Rumours first began swirling that the couple were secretly engaged in early December.

A source previously said: ''Everyone in town is buzzing about the wedding. They have already booked the venue and are in the process of finalizing the rest of the details.

''Jason is a hometown boy at heart, and he is super close to his family and all his friends there. It has always been his dream to get married back in Kansas City.''

Olivia split from her first husband eight years, Tao Ruspoli, in February 2011 and had a few brief flings before settling down with Jason.

After a few months of dating, things got serious and she recently put her $2.5 million Los Angeles home on the market so that she could move in with Jason in New York City, where his show is filmed.

A source said: ''Olivia is so over commuting back and forth between LA and New York. At first she was worried that if she left the West Coast the acting offers would dry up. But these days she is more focused on her relationship than her career. She's all about what's best for them as a couple and that means living in NYC.''

Tina Fey & Amy Poehler on Hosting Golden Globes: "People Should Get Liquored Up"

Pressure's on Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

It was time for the dynamic duo to take their comedy to the stage at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Hollywood tonight, which means they spent endless hours going over their game plan—right?

"We kind of can't do things until the last minute and we're used to that," Poehler told Ryan Seacrest about doing their first run-through on stage today.

Fey added, "We're used to Saturday Night Live, and you just come in—last second—and see how it goes."

Check out the Golden Globes complete winners list!

Luckily, celebs will be drinking throughout the show, so these SNL alums are hoping that helps the situation.

"People should get liquored up, and hopefully in a way that makes us seem funny and not to where they throw things or turn belligerent," Fey told us.

"We're gonna keep things loose as the evening goes on, but we definitely have our opening stuff ready to go," Poehler mentioned and Fey added, "Yeah, it's a party and we want it to remain a party and not send anyone home in tears."

Darn. Just kidding! Kinda.

Did you see the Golden Globe arrivals?

10 Riskiest Gloden Globes Looks Ever: Renée Zellweger, Cate Blanchett and Other Gutsy Gals

by Rose Curiel Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 2:30 PM PST

Kevin Mazur/WireImage; Lisa O'Connor/ZUMA Press; Steve Granitz/WireImage

Let's face it, the Golden Globes are just as much about fabulous fashion as they are standout film and television. And with the entire world scrutinizing everything from their gowns to their manicured hands, there's a lot of pressure riding on Hollywood's leading ladies to hit the red carpet in flawless head-to-toe looks.

But throughout the show's legendary red carpet history, there have been certain gutsy gals who have dressed more for themselves than the critics. Take Cate Blanchett, who skipped a standard dress in favor of a pinstripe pantsuit in 2002 or Lara Flynn Boyle, who lived out many a little girl's dream, by wearing ballerina garb outside the dance studio. And then there's Renée Zellweger, who turned up at the 2009 show in a more traditional gown, but nevertheless set tongues wagging with her gothic Carolina Herrera number and bold curly updo.

Whether or not you like these ladies' unique looks, one thing's for sure: They definitely don't lack guts when it comes to making a style statement!

Alessandra Ambrosio Gets Parking Ticket, Probably Should be Cited for Skull-Print Neon Tights Too

by Leslie Gornstein Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 5:07 PM PST

Poersch/AKM-GSI

So we have this nephew. He's 18 months old. He has a set of neon pajamas with little skulls all over them. The pajamas work for him, because he's 18 months old and he thinks mashed yams are awesome and that his 4-year-old sister is the wittiest person on the planet and that banging on a Tupperware bowl with a stick is the most fun a guy can possibly have.

If Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio can't manage to pull off her own version of our nephew's jammies, that really says something. It says that unless you really enjoy mashed yams, leave those things at home.

Ironically, Ms. Ambrosio wore these leggings on a coffee run where she just so happened to also get a parking ticket. If only the police could actually write fashion citations...

Bears interview for Giles' job

County champions Warwickshire hope to announce a successor to former director of cricket Ashley Giles by the end of the month.

Assistant coaches Dougie Brown and Graeme Welch have both been among those interviewed this week at Edgbaston.

Former Bears batsman David Hemp is another candidate and chief executive Colin Povey must decide whether to appoint in-house or pick an outsider.

Giles' departure to become England one-day coach was announced in November.

West Indies coach Ottis Gibson and England & Wales Cricket Board performance director David Parsons are also reported to be interested in the post.

The county's hierarchy have not so far commented publicly, other than to reveal that England bowling coach David Saker was not offered the job.

Meanwhile, former Warwickshire and England fast bowler Gladstone Small is to stand down from the club's' committee after 10 years because of his growing business commitments.

"With a need to spend greater periods of time away from my Midlands base, it has become difficult to devote as much time," said Small, who won nine trophies with Warwickshire between 1980 and 1999 and played 17 Tests for England,.

Warwickshire chairman Norman Gascoigne said: "His experience in the playing and business management sides of the club has been invaluable."

Bradley Cooper Reveals His Date for Oscar Night

by Marc Malkin and Natalie Finn Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 8:55 PM PST

Bradley Cooper is a good actor, but he's a great son.

"Oh, yeah, that was done," the newly minted Academy Award nominee told E! News on the Critics' Choice Movie Awards red carpet last night when asked if he had already promised his Oscar night plus-one to his mom, Gloria.

"One night, when I started the profession, [mom said] 'If you ever [get nominated] I am the date,'" he assured us.

See Ben and Brad's bromance bloom at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards

"She was freaking out," Cooper said of his mother's reaction to finding out her son was up for Best Actor. As for the Silver Linings Playbook star himself, however...

He was already too spent to freak out.

"When David O. [Russell] got nominated [for Best Director]," Cooper recalled, "I got emotional because he put his whole heart into this movie and every frame, and the DGA didn't recognize him, so...I was so happy and he was the first name they said. So, I was reeling from that and by the time my name came around...I didn't make any reaction!"

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick: Anatomy of a Split

by Natalie Finn Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 9:09 PM PST

Josiah True/ WENN.com

We were truly happy for Britney Spears when she settled down with Jason Trawick, figuring it was about time the pop princess found herself in a knight in shining armor.

Alas, the singer and her former agent have since called off their engagement, saying that they still care deeply for one another and remain friends.

But why don't they want to be more-than-friends anymore?! Let's examine how they went from A to exes:

See more big celebrity splits

Jan. 31, 2010: After going from agent-client to boyfriend-girlfriend, Spears and Trawick make their red-carpet debut at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.

August 2010: Trawick continues to prove himself a stand-up guy—because not a peep of drama is heard from these two. Next thing we know, they're having fun in the sun in Hawaii.

Dec. 2, 2010: Spears celebrates "the best birthday" of her life (her 29th!) in Mexico.

Inside Britney's fortune: See where the money goes

January 2011: After the couple opted not to mix business with pleasure for a while, Trawick is back to work on Team Spears at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment.

April 2011: Engagement-ring watch begins.

May 2011: "I've thought about both, so if the timing was right..." Spears says in Harper's Bazaar when asked if she's up for another marriage and more kids...Also this month, Trawick leaves WMEE (and Team Britney) for the more digital-artist-centric Famos LLC.

The X Factor finale included the best of Britney's faces

September 2011: Engagment story No. 2. Again, negatory. Spears does don a diamond ring, however, for her "Criminal" video, costarring Trawick (because now he does videos).

Dec. 15, 2011: Engagement story No. 3 is...true! Trawick gives Brit the "one gift" she'd been waiting for—the popping of the question, Neil Lane-designed ring in hand. (Ex-husband Kevin Federline and father of her two kids says he's "really happy" for her.)

April 25, 2012: And they say romance is dead. A judge approves Trawick's petition to become coconservator of his future wife's personal affairs (not her estate, which remains the domain of dad and a lawyer), a sign that Spears is working her way back to becoming legally responsible for herself.

This new Taylor Swift breakup song isn't the real deal—but listen anyway!

July 2012: Spears steals away to Maui for a family vacay with Trawick and her kids.

August 2012: She doesn't wear her ring to a conservatorship hearing, but her lawyers laugh off the idea that that means something. "Everything is absolutely fine between them. The wedding is not off," a source assures E! News when asked what's holding up the planning process. "They are as blissfully happy as ever but they want to get The X Factor out the way before they even start planning a wedding."

October 2012: Spears plunks down $8.5 million for a palatial spread in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Was 2012 Britney's best year yet?

October 2012: As Sam Lutfi's lawsuit against Britney and her parents goes to trial and dredges up all sorts of demons and low points from the singer's past, she says in that month's issue of Lucky that Trawick is "sweet" and doesn't mind when she feels like sitting around in sweats.

December 2012: Word on the street is that Simon Cowell isn't interested in having Britney back for another season of The X Factor. Trawick heads to Spears' native Louisiana with her before Christmas to attend her grandfather's funeral.

Jan. 4, 2013: Spears is out again sans ring—obviously not for the first time, but...early the following week, a conservatorship hearing pops up on the usually well-mapped-out-in-advance schedule.

Taylor Swift, Bethenny Frankel...why are we seeing so many breakups right now?

Jan. 10, 2013: Spears leaves William Morris Endeavor for Creative Artists Agency.

Jan. 11, 2013: It's a big day. Spears officially confirms that she won't be returning to The X Factor  as she expresses her intention to get back into the studio to cut her eighth album. We also hear she's interested in having her own show in Las Vegas. A few hours later, a judge signs off on Trawick's petition to remove himself as coconservator and they reveal that they have broken up. "I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends," Spears says.

A source tells E! News that they never took steps to plan a wedding, which seemed strange to those close to her, considering Britney had been "pushing to move the relationship forward" and "really wanted to get engaged and have a wedding."

Britney Spears Breaks Up With Fiancé Jason Trawick

Britney Spears is in a transitional phase.

The 31-year-old pop star and her agent fiancé, Jason Trawick, have broken up, her rep confirmed to E! News. They had been engaged for just over a year.

"Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement," Spears said in a statement.  "I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."

Britney's "working hard" on her next album

Added Trawick: "As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever."

News of Spears' single status comes just as her camp confirmed that her relationship with The X Factor had also ended after one season.

In addition to being Spears' near-constant companion, Trawick had been appointed a coconservator of Spears' personal affairs, an indicator at the time that Britney was inching her way back toward regaining legal control of her life.

That arrangement ended this afternoon when a judge signed off on his petition to be removed as coconservator, making dad Jamie Spears' the coconservator of Britney's estate and sole showrunner of her day-to-day decisions.

"I'm still alive," Trawick addressed inquiring minds on Twitter yesterday. "Been traveling to c family in ny and friends in Miami for the BSC bowl. Hope u are all well."

Meanwhile, a source said today that Britney was seriously considering a performance residency in Las Vegas following her "difficult decision" to leave The X Factor.

Common Talks Kim Kardashian's Pregnancy, Kanye West's Future as a Daddy

by Rebecca Macatee Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 2:16 PM PST

To those in Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's inner circle, the Kimye baby news wasn't exactly a shocker.

The dad-to-be's pal Common tells E! News he's "not surprised" at all about Kim's pregnancy.

"I think Kanye is a family type of guy in many ways," he says. "He's just a good guy and a loving guy."

"I think he and Kim have a great relationship," Common adds. "So it's good…When you got the love, you might as well go for it."

As for their future little one? "That kid's gonna have so many styles of clothing and flavor," he says. "I'm telling you, for real."

Oh, we don't doubt it.

Scandal Stars Tease Nudity and Romantic Woes: "No Couple Is Safe!"

by Tierney Bricker Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 3:25 PM PST

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Good news, Scandal fans: The series is better than ever and we don't just mean creatively!

The sophomore political drama's winter return attracted 8.4 million viewers, a series high. That's right, a series high. To paraphrase Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), Shonda Rhimes' series is handling business. Scandal is quickly becoming TV's buzziest drama thanks to its breakneck packing and crazy plot twists. "It's so great to hear that people are loving the show and are addicted to it and into it, because we're just as much into the show," star Guillermo Diaz gushes. "We love it just as much as the audience!"

We caught up with Diaz, Joshua Malina, Jeff Perry, Darby Stanchfield and Bellamy Young at ABC's All-Star party at the 2013 Winter TV Press Tour to get the scoop on what's ahead on TV's hottest drama. Plus, who's getting naked?!

There's a Vampire Diaries spinoff in the works at The CW!

"I think you have to be concerned about any couple in Shonda-land," Malina says. "Nobody's life is safe and no romance is safe!"

Of course, one couple with a lot to lose and a lot to fight over are Cyrus (Perry) and James (Dan Bucatinsky), who are currently in the process of adopting a baby. "People think that's all strategy and manipulation...just because it is!" Perry says of Cyrus finally cracking on the baby front. "I'm looking forward to the little bambino especially if James has to take care of it, then I'm really looking forward to it!" But with James still looking into the voter fraud conspiracy, is the couple's long-term future looking bleak? "I hope they're great for the long-term because I love working with him," Perry says. "They fight really well and they make up well!"

Of course, we couldn't let the guys go without giving us a little tease about their three characters, which Perry definitely delivered on: "For the Scandal fanatics, it's kind of a little quiz: One of us has been naked in a past episode, one of us is going to be naked really soon and one of us a little bit down the road!" Stanchfield adds, "It's far from over with Abby and David."

Scoop on Girls' second season from the cast!

As for first lady Mellie (Young)? "Maybe now Mellie will have her chance to run things," Young hints.

Scandal airs Thursday at 10 p.m. on ABC.

To hear more from the Scandal cast, including what it was like for Stanchfield and Malina to film that sex scene everyone is talking about, watch our interviews with them above!

See Demi Moore's Hot Date Night With Restaurateur Harry Morton

by Melanie Bromley and Natalie Finn Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 5:08 PM PST

Zavar/Raffi/NPG.com

Demi Moore has a new man in her life.

The soon-to-be divorced star is dating restaurateur Harry Morton—and has been "for a few months" after meeting him through mutual friendes, a source exclusively tells E! News.

"They have been trying to keep it a secret," the insider says. "It's not a serious thing...but it may develop into something. They have a lot of fun together and have been meeting in secret places in New York and Los Angeles."

Ashton Kutcher kicked off 2013 in Rio de Janeiro

But the actress and the young nightlife mogul, who dated Lindsay Lohan some years ago, apparently decided to let the cat out of the bag, going on a not-so-secret dinner date Wednesday at South Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills.

According to eyewitnesses, Moore and Morton arrived at around 8 p.m. and, over the course of a little over two hours, were noticeably flirtatious, laughing and appearing to have a great time.

Morton was first up to check for paparazzi outside (Guess what? There were some out there) and then they waited together for the valet to bring his car around. They drove back to Moore's place and he went inside, outlasting the paparazzi who hung around waiting for him to leave before giving up.

Demi got in some party time with Lenny Kravitz in Miami last month

"It's no surprise that she would be attracted to him, as he's a catch," the source says, noting the thirtysomething Morton's success in business as owner of the Viper Room and the Pink Taco restaurants. His father, Peter Morton, founded the Hard Rock Café chain.

"They are just getting to know one another," the source adds. Moore is "in a really good place at the moment and is hopeful about the future."

Katie Price engaged to builder Kieran Hayler

Katie Price has revealed she accepted builder-turned-stripper Kieran Hayler's proposal after just one month together because it ''feels right''.

Katie Price is engaged for the fourth time.

The 34-year-old glamour model has accepted a proposal from builder and part-time stripper Kieran Hayler, just three months after splitting from her former fiancé Leandro Penna.

She told The Sun newspaper: ''Kieran and I talked about marriage a few times and he proposed to me at Christmas over dinner. Kieran is a true gentleman who treats me like a princess. He's a normal guy, he works hard and the kids love him. It just feels right.

''I know what people will say because I've heard it all before. But life is short so when something feels right, I just go for it.''

The mother-of-three - who has children Harvey, 10, Junior, seven, and five-year-old Princess Tiaamii - only went public with her new beau in December when he posted snaps of them kissing on Twitter, but despite their whirlwind romance she's convinced he could be The One.

A source added: ''Katie's insisting he's The One and that she would have been miserable over Christmas and New Year without him. She's calling it 'love' already. She reckons becoming Mrs Hayler is the right thing because Kieran's got none of the faults of her exes. She's totally smitten.''

Katie - also known as Jordan - became close to the plasterer and cabaret stripper after struggling to cope with her heartbreak over Argentinan model Leandro calling off their engagement.

The busty pin-up is known for her rash decisions in affairs of the heart, first marrying Peter Andre in a lavish fairytale style wedding after meeting him on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' in 2005. Following their bitter divorce, she tied the knot with cross-dressing cage fighter Alex Reid in Las Vegas in 2010, before falling for Leandro after the marriage broke down a year later.

Cook proud after nail-biting win

By Sam Sheringham BBC Sport England captain Alastair Cook said every member of his team could feel proud after a nine-run victory in Rajkot ended a run of 13 away matches without a one-day win against India.

His men scored 325-4 after winning the toss and kept their composure to restrict the hosts to 316-9 in reply.

Cook, who paved the way with 75, said: "Obviously it was a good win. Everyone in that dressing room can be proud.

"It was a good toss to win, a good wicket and we made the most of it."

England's triumph - which gives them a 1-0 lead in the five-match series - was a real team effort. Every member of the top six scored valuable runs before the wickets were shared between the four frontline bowlers.

"England held their nerve and their catches to make a fabulous start to the tour. Cook and Bell serenely compiled a 158-run first wicket partnership on a belter of a batting wicket but England still needed Patel's 20-ball knock of 44 to post a competitive score.

"There was little margin for error with the ball - especially after India rattled up 66 in the first 10 overs. But James Tredwell, ably assisted by Joe Root on a debut in which he didn't bat, bowled superbly - first by stemming the flow of runs on a wicket which wouldn't turn, and then by taking the four wickets which helped England home."

On a batsman-friendly pitch, Ian Bell top-scored with 85 in an opening partnership of 158 with Cook before Samit Patel and Craig Kieswetter finished the innings in style with an unbroken 70 stand off 37 balls.

"Clearly if we were being a bit greedy then we would want one of us to go on and make a big hundred and get the score up to 330-340," added Cook.

"But then Samit and Craig came in and got 60 off the last five overs which made a big difference."

In India's reply, off-spinner James Tredwell proved himself a more than capable stand-in for the rested Graeme Swan, taking four wickets, and Jade Dernbach took the crucial wicket of Mahendra Dhoni just when the India skipper was threatening a match-winning knock.

"A score of 325 to defend was a good target. They kept coming at us but at the crucial times we got the wickets," Cook said. "Tredwell was exceptional on that wicket to get four wickets."

Dhoni expressed frustration that his team could not hold on for a victory after reaching 271-5 in the 45th over.

"Frankly we should have got that - it was a very fast outfield," he said. "You got value for your shots and if you found the gaps more often than not it hit the boundary.

"I should have batted a few more overs and we would have got them."

Miss America 2013: Meet Miss Montana Alexis Wineman, Pageant's First Contestant With Autism

by Sharareh Drury and Natalie Finn Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 6:41 PM PST

Courtesy of Alexis Wineman

The dream Alexis Wineman barely dared to dream has become a reality.

Tomorrow night, the 18-year-old Miss Montana will become the first woman with autism to ever compete in the Miss America pageant.

"I never liked pageants," she tells E! News. "I thought I was lower, didn't compare to them, that I shouldn't be dreaming about stuff like that. It couldn't become a reality. Now, here I am at Miss America talking to E! News."

Why are people sending hate mail to Miss Washington, D.C.? No, really, why?!

Darn straight!

Wineman was diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorder and borderline Asperger's syndrome at the age of 11.

She says she isn't making a big deal out of being the first Miss America hopeful with autism—because she has tried to never let the diagnosis define her.

Cheryl Burke and McKayla Maroney join the Miss America 2013 judges' panel

"I define me," she says. "People are seeing Alexis Wineman, not a girl with autism onstage."

And, no matter what happens tomorrow, Wineman isn't the type to give up on anything.

"I thought I'd be held back [in high school]," she says. "I did graduate and got accepted into college. I was bouncing off the walls! I started to look back at all of the things I accomplished—I did a lot I never thought I would do."

It was when she was looking for scholarship opportunities that her mom suggested she try the Miss Montana route. "She thought I'd never go for it," Wineman recalls, "and the next day I was going to go for it."

5 things to know about new Miss USA Nana Meriwether

"I feel like I was given my autism for a reason, that God gave it to me for a reason," she says, "to show people that a girl with a few differences is Miss America material...I grew up not knowing that."

She calls the other girls "amazing" and says that many of them have come up to her to compliment what she's doing.

"Miss Alabama's platform, for example, is Autism Service Dogs [of America], and we've become the best of friends," Wineman reveals. "A lot of girls come up to me and tell me I am doing great, and other girls pass me off as another one of the girls. Either way—these girls are sweet, never offensive, never picked on me and treated me like a baby sister."

Courtesy of Alexis Wineman

Of course, it never hurts to have a sense of humor.

Wineman happens to be blazing a trail in more ways than one tomorrow—in addition to being the youngest contestant out there this year, she'll be the only one of the 52 contestants to offer up a stand-up comedy routine (about women's body-image issues, no less!) as her talent.

Contestants often "try to stay away from acting or monologues," Wineman dishes. "I love to make people laugh and I think judges will be able to see the audience loving it as much as I am."

Demi Lovato Living at Sober House in Los Angeles

by Alyssa Toomey Fri., Jan. 11, 2013 2:34 PM PST

Giulio Marcocchi/startraksphoto.com

Demi Lovato is one impressive young woman.

The 20-year-old superstar—who has millions of dollars, multiple hits and a judging stint on The X Factor—has been living in a sober house in Los Angeles for over a year, People magazine reports.

Lovato has never been shy about sharing her sobriety struggles. She entered treatment in 2010 for anorexia, bulimia and cutting issues and has since become an anti-bullying advocate and role model for troubled teens.;

See how Demi spent her (sober) NYE

And as it turns out, the songbird is highly committed to staying healthy, even reportedly living in the sober house while filming The X Factor.

"It's a daily journey and it's definitely going to be a struggle that I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life," she exclusively told E! News back in 2011 of her struggle to stay on a positive life path. "Sometimes I think, Why couldn't I have been normal?"

The brunette beauty—who was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder during her stint in rehab—currently has the words "Stay Strong" tattooed on her wrists as a reminder of her commitment to a healthy life.

Demi Lovato discusses bulimia with Katie Couric

Over New Year's, Demi also took to Twitter to look back on all of her positive life changes since treatment, calling recovery a "beautiful thing."

With the endless amount of Hollywood temptation at her fingertips, it's safe to say Lovato has an extremely solid approach to sobriety.

We commend you, Demi. Stay strong!

Not only is Demi a great role model, but she also has a fab sense of fashion!

England edge thrilling one-dayer

First one-day international, Rajkot:

England 325-4 (50 overs) beat India 316-9 (50 overs) by nine runs

England held their nerve to edge out India by nine runs in a stirring opening one-day international.

Batting first on a flat pitch, an opening partnership of 158 between captain Alastair Cook (75) and Ian Bell (85) set England on the road to 325-4.

India stayed in the game thanks to half-centuries from Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina.

But James Tredwell took 4-44 and Jade Dernbach removed the dangerous Mahendra Dhoni as the hosts fell short on 316-9.

England's victory was their first in 14 away matches against India - a barren run stretching back to April 2006 - and gave Ashley Giles a winning start as limited-overs coach.

158 - A Cook & I Bell (2013) 133 - C Tavare & B Wood (1982) 129 - A Cook & Kieswetter (2007) 107 - I Bell & A Strauss (2006) 101 - R Smith & A Stewart (1993) The tourists are top of the one-day rankings but had suffered 5-0 whitewashes on their last two visits to India and were comprehensively beaten in their two warm-up matches for this series.

Nonetheless, England began in a confident manner as Cook and Bell took advantage of a fast outfield to pepper the boundary at will.

With the merest push through a gap in the field racing away for four, the duo did not need to be overly aggressive as they put on England's highest opening partnership against India.

India's spinners checked England's progress in the middle of their innings and, with runs starting to dry up, Bell and Cook began to take risks.

Bell was eventually run out by Rahane's direct hit from short fine leg and Cook was caught by the same fielder after top-edging a sweep off Raina.

Kevin Pietersen (44) and Eoin Morgan (41) both perished just when they were starting to find their range and it was left to Samit Patel and Craig Kieswetter to ensure England reached the total the conditions demanded.

Patel was England's aggressor-in-chief, smashing 44 off 20 balls as England plundered 59 off the last four overs of their innings, with Ishant Sharma conceding 86 runs from his 10 overs.

India started their reply in a similar vein to England as Ajinkya Rahane and Gambhir put on 96 inside 17 overs.

But both fell in quick succession to Tredwell, with Rahane caught at long-off and Gambhir chipping to Bell at midwicket before Virat Kohli was caught behind off Tim Bresnan.

Yuvraj wrestled the momentum back India's way with a typically belligerent batting display, rattling 61 off 54 balls - his 50th one-day half-century.

Alongside Raina, he looked capable of taking the match away from England, only to spoon Tredwell to Dernbach at short fine leg.

Raina was granted a controversial reprieve on 46 when the third umpire ruled that Tim Bresnan had grounded the ball in taking a catch at third man.

But his luck did not last much longer as a leading edge presented Tredwell with a simple return catch.

Dhoni, so often the scourge of England in the past, struck four huge sixes to take India within sight of victory. But with 55 needed from 35 balls, he failed to middle a drive off Dernbach and picked out long-off.

Three balls later, Jadeja played on to Dernbach to leave India without a recognised batsman and, although their tail-enders took the match into the final over, England maintained their composure to clinch the win.

Cook says his team need to win the series - which continues on Tuesday in Kochi - to justify their number one billing, and on this evidence they look good value to realise their captain's ambition.

We are using archive pictures for this series because several photo agencies, including Getty Images, have been barred from the ground following a dispute with the Board of Control for Cricket in India, while other agencies have withdrawn their photographers in protest.

Watch the clip to see how Cooper felt about his Silver Lining Playbook costars' nominations—and what he thinks about the Ben Affleck snub!

Delhi 295-4 (48.3 overs) beat England 294-5 (50 overs) by six wickets

Match scorecard

Ian Bell shone for the second match in succession but could not prevent England slipping to a six-wicket defeat in their second warm-up game before the one-day international series in India.

England v India ODI series 11 Jan - 1st ODI, Rajkot (d/n) (06:30 GMT) 15 Jan - 2nd ODI, Kochi (d/n) (06:30 GMT) 19 Jan - 3rd ODI, Ranchi (d/n) (06:30 GMT) 23 Jan - 4th ODI, Mohali (d/n) (06:30 GMT) 27 Jan - 5th ODI, Dharamsala (03:30 GMT) Bell top-scored with 108 and shared in a partnership of 113 with Eoin Morgan in a much improved batting display from the defeat by India A on Sunday.

Alastair Cook's side posted 294-5 but Shikhar Dhawan led the way for Delhi.

The opener scored 110 as the hosts eased home with nine balls remaining.

The first ODI of the five-match series against India is on Friday, January 11 in Rajkot.

England rested Kevin Pietersen, while Cook featured after missing the first match because of illness. Joe Root and Stuart Meaker also came in to the side as Jos Buttler and Tim Bresnan were left out.

Russell FullerBBC Radio 5 live in Delhi

"A score of 294-5 should have been sufficient, but England's seamers bowled erratically. Wides and no balls undermined Steve Finn in his first spell, and neither Stuart Meaker nor Chris Woakes carried much threat. James Tredwell took two wickets and exercised genuine control early in his spell, but in truth there was no-one Alastair Cook could totally rely on. At least the batting was a significant improvement on Sunday but the bowling will have to be much sharper in Rajkot."

Bell, who scored 91 in the first warm-up game, compiled 108 off 125 balls at the top of the order before he was trapped lbw by Varun Sood, while Morgan's 52 came at just under a run a ball before he was caught by India Under-19 captain Unmukt Chand off Jagrit Anand.

Sood returned figures of 3-45 but late runs from Craig Kieswetter, with 41 not out from 27 balls, lifted the tourists to just short of 300.

The England total appeared formidable but former India batsman Dhawan and Chand (37) attacked from the off.

Dhawan was finally dismissed for 110 off 109 balls, but rookie Milind Kumar (78 not out) and Rajat Bhatia, with 45 not out off 33 balls, saw the hosts home with ease.

If it were possible, I'd care even less about this meaningless result than I do about the whole 20/20 thing altogether. But it isn't, so guess I'll just say I don't give a xxxx.

I'm not against 20/20, but let's be honest it's just a bit of fun and exhibition cricket, and it really doesn't matter who wins.

I have great concerns over our bowling. Can they bowl sides out? I may sound harsh, but they seem happy just to concede six an over believing that to be a good days work. The best sides contain and bowl sides out, especially when defending a low total. I hope I am wrong, but I fear that India's batsmen will have the upper hand.

England often win the warm ups but get thumped in the proper series so perhaps it will be different this time. Apart from Tredwell the bowling doesnt look great at the moment. Maybe they just arent trying that hard to avoid injury. I hope so anyway

#54 Actually in his ODI career he has been a lot less consistent than KP, scored too slowly and had a low average. But since coming back into the team as an opener he's been very good.
Criminal? Yeah, right.
#47 You can't compare scoring rates at the end of an innings to the beginning.

Pardon me all your Bell knockers, did he not have an average of over 100 in the last home series when we smashed the Indians??? At least he is far more consistent and reliable than KP whose choice of shot sometimes is nothing short of criminal.
